Looking Ahead to Pride Month April 2027
What an incredible April 2026 Pride Month it was! A huge thank you to every individual, community group, organisation, business and volunteer who hosted an event, attended, or supported Pride Month 2026. We couldn't do it without our community. Pride Month is only possible because of the people who create welcoming spaces and celebrate one another.
Now we're looking ahead to Pride Month April 2027.
Tauranga Moana Rainbow Collective is here to help connect and promote community-led Pride Month events. We coordinate the shared calendar, help avoid event clashes where possible, and showcase the amazing events happening across Tauranga Moana.
If you're a business, organisation, community group, school, sports club or individual with an event idea, we'd love to hear from you. Whether you're ready to go or just have the seed of an idea, we're happy to help you bring it to life. If you know someone who'd be keen to host an event, we'd love an introduction too.
Pride is centred on celebrating our rainbow communities, but it's for everyone. It's an opportunity to celebrate diversity, creativity and the unique people who make Tauranga Moana such a wonderful place to call home. When our rainbow communities see the wider community standing alongside them, it sends a powerful message: you belong, you are valued, and you are celebrated.
Let's work together to make Pride Month 2027 our biggest and most connected celebration yet.
